Terasian Craps DDR Style
Terasian Craps has been played on the Rock for many years. Its origins came from the first adventures to settle on the rock. Through the years as folks moved on, the game died out. It was revived by the DDR a few years back, and, not really knowing the old style rules, created a new version of the game.
Craps is played on Sunday nights at 8 EST in the Tower on the Rock. The entry fee is 50,000 silvers, payable by scrip. Each contestant rolls the dice on their turn. If they roll a limb number, the Dicemaster cast unfocused limb disruption on them, which randomly removes one of their limbs. The last person with a hand remaining wins the pot, less 50,000 silvers. The first out gets that 50,000 silvers. The DDR does not take a cut out of this game. We just host it for the fun of it.
The Official Dicemaster Rules:
For your safety, please refer to the Dicemaster as the Witch.
There will be no healing limbs down. Only acantha leaf or ale for the health will be allowed. Ask any empaths present to take your health. You are allowed to tend your wounds or the wounds of others.
You will begin by rolling the dice for your place in the rolling order. Grab the dice and roll when you can. Please don't go too fast as the Rollmaster is putting you in the rolling order. Rolling order is lowest to highest.
After you're in order, the Dicemaster will roll for the first limb number. Before the beginning of each round, another limb number will be added. Please do not roll until your pointed or nodded to by the Rollmaster.
Starting with the second round, doubles are automatic limb numbers. As such, 2 and 12 are added on the second round,
When you roll a limb number, the Dicemaster will cast unfocused limb disruption at you. If there is a fumble, the Dicemaster will recast. If a limb only breaks, the Dicemaster will recast at that limb with focused disruption. The Witch enjoys this tremendously.
If the Dicemaster is unable to break your TD, you will be dispelled. Whining will cause the Dicemaster to take a dim view of you.
You lose when a hand or an arm is gone on both sides of your body. You can lose a hand and still lose the arm that it was attached too, but you can not lose an arm and then a hand. Whining too loudly is dangerous to your health.
If we run out of numbers
we keep blowing limbs off in rolling order. That is why we roll for
position right up front. Last person to have a hand
left wins.
