Scheree's Tower

Walls of craggy rock and a glossy black ebonwood floor covered by a dragon emblazoned rug enclose this room. A crested Crimson lizard dashes back and forth across the rug. An engraved keepsake chest rests at the foot of a blood-red satin-draped bed, and near the bed sits a gnarled yew reading table upon which resides a singed witchwood box and a glass dome. A large stone fireplace waits near the far wall, the glow from the fire illuminating a shimmering crystal ball and a multi-shelved display case of fine miniatures. Displayed upon the mantle of the fireplace is a rare collection of figurines. Leaning against the hearth is a twisted willow branch housing a small collection of whips on its gnarled branches. On either side of the bay window you notice hand carved yew shelves displaying fine sculptures.

Peering out the rock-inlaid bay window you see a dirt path leading to a small wood structure partially hidden amongst the trees. Surrounding the structure is an old rickety fence that is in need of repair.

 

 

On the blood-red satin-draped bed you see coiled sinuously a flint-tipped leather whip. Peering closely at the whip you see the following : The braided surface of the stock has been interwoven with fine layers of golvern, the rare metal a dusky grey beneath the black leather. The whip when uncoiled is twice the length of a typical giantman, its flint-tipped end appearing to be designed to hover at the border between flexibility and a wicked strength. You also notice a small enchanter's mark.

Inside the glass dome you see 1 minature:

1 a striking Faendryl witch miniature. Peering at the minature you see: The miniature appears to be of a Faendryl dark elf in the prime of her life. Her piercing jade green eyes peer out from a mass of very long, lustrous fiery red hair flowing wildly around her delicate face. Her expression is one of mystery as she raises her hands before her, an arc of energy between them. A golden-eyed crested crimson lizard perched upon her shoulder stands witness to the witch's power. Etched on the base is the name "Scheree."

Clintmire's Goat Farm

You wander down the path to the wood structure. When you arrive at the structure you see that it is more of a shack than a building. Meandering around is a herd of goats that pause from their chewing on the shack to eye you suspiciously. Above the door of the shack you see a crudely carved sign that reads "CLINTMIRE'S GOAT FARM". Scawled below the sign you see the words "WITCHES NOT ALLOWED. THAT MEANS YOU SCHEREE!"

Entering the shack you pause as you take in the disarray of clutter. Pegs have been haphazardly attached on the far wall. Bales of moldy hay are stacked in one corner housing various objects. On one bale of hay you see an old jewerly box that is missing its lid. In one corner a table that is missing one leg stands propped against the wall. Standing guard over the feeding trough is a life-sized blue marble goat. A plank of wood has been attached to the wall next to the door to serve as a crude shelf.

A life-sized blue marble goat:

1 a life-sized blue marble goat. Peering closely at the goat you see: The marble of the sculpted goat is a very pretty shade of pale blue flecked with silver. Incredible attention to detail was paid by the sculptor: not only every line of the goat's fur, but every speck of dirt on its cloven hooves and every weed in its long beard were carved with loving care. The goat is posed with its long-lashed eyes closed and its lower teeth protruding unevenly as it chews on a tuft of blue marble hay.

On the pegs you see a blackened spidersilk longcoat adorned with gleaming silver ram's head buttons, a cableknit goat hair sweater, an oiled goat hide cap, a protective white goat hide tunic, a shell-covered goathide quiver, a sleek goathide baldric, a smelly midnight black canvas satchel covered in matted goat hair, some beaded goatskin trousers, some reinforced black goatskin leathers and a sky blue ram's head banner.

On the bales of hay you see a brass-jingled ivory goatskin tambourine, a brass-jingled blue goatskin tambourine, a goat hoof, some painted black goatskin bagpipes and a dead goat.

Inspecting the crude shelf you see imprints in the dust indicating that the shelf once held some objects. A hastily scribbled sign above the shelf reads "The Witch took these from me!". Smaller signs are placed on each imprint. Squinting at them you see that they read: "a bloodwood horned goat sculpture", "an enameled horned goat statue", "a fine silver horned goat miniature", "a malachite horned goat sculpture", and "a red cedar ram miniature".
