Clintmire's and Scheree's Wedding

This is the log of Clintmire's and Scheree's weeding. Text in this color are comments that I have added.

[A Bright Meadow]
Towering trees surround a large patch of green grass dusted with colorful wild flowers. Over the treetops, snow-covered peaks are outlined against the clear sky. Four poles wrapped with silk ribbons surround an altar of carved wood from which delicate garlands of flowering vines hang down to the ground.

{The Bard Arrives}

Femereff just arrived.

Femereff removes a gilded modwir-inlaid mandolin from in her ash mandolin case.

Femereff begins playing a quiet song on her mandolin.

Femereff plucks several harmonic tones as delightful as the quiescent songs of shy faeries.

Femereff adds in a soft harmony, the muted strains complimenting the melody beautifully.

Femereff makes a sharp decrescendo, forcing you to strain to hear the soft notes.

Femereff makes a quiet transition into a soft song whose rhythmic strains remind you of the waves of a far-off ocean.

Femereff embellishes her hushed song with an exquisite fall of notes as pure as raindrops across chimes.

Femereff plays with a quiet beauty, the muted notes subtle and yet profoundly effecting.

{Our Daughter Arrives}

Lady Enchandri just arrived.

Femereff brushes her fingers over the strings, modulating softly from chord to chord as if playing to herself.

Enchandri recites:

"Please Ladies and Gentlemen, may I have your attention."

Enchandri says, " I welcome you to the wedding of my parents Scheree and Clintmire""

Femereff strums one final soft chord then allows her mandolin to fall silent.

Femereff put a gilded modwir-inlaid mandolin in her ash mandolin case.

Enchandri says, "This wedding was a long time in coming and there are many of us I am sure that didn't believe it would ever happen. My mother mostly. As one of their eight bastards I know I am very happy this day. Prehaps now we can all marry and provide them with little grandchildren." I can only remember seven of them.

Enchandri winks and flashes a sly grin.

Enchandri exclaims, "May Ivas bless this union so that there are many many more of us!"

Enchandri says, "I would like to thank Lady Femereff for providing such lovely music for us while we are waiting to begin, and I would now like to introduce to you the Cleric, Lady Paisley.""

Femereff curtsies.

Enchandri applauds Femereff.

{The Cleric Arrives}

Paisely just arrived.

Paisely places her hand on her prayer book.

Paisely clears her throat.

Paisely smiles at the gathering

Paisely recites:

"Family and friends of the bridal and groom I welcome you to the long overdue and much debated permanent partnership" of Scheree and Clintmire. It has been said that you can tell alot about people just by their actions. I can tell you that Clint is a wonderful rogue...he hides in the shadows...and from weddings better then any I know of and that Scheree is a most efficient huntress...as you can see by the fact that Clint is getting married. " There is nothing wrong with long engagements.

Paisely says, "Let me introduce the best man Lord Thendror"

{The Best Man Arrives}

Lord Thendror just arrived.

(Dimwitt tinks clint gonna hide from dis weddin too) Bah!

Thendror bows to Paisely.

Enchandri says, "i'm getting legit today"
Enchandri says, "or someones introuble" Okay, she has the power.

Thendror says, "Evening"

Paisely says, "Allow me to introduce the groom, Lord Clintmire"

The sun slowly begins to sink into the horizon, changing color from bright yellow, to orange, to a fiery red as it moves out of sight.

{The Great and Mighty Groom Arrives}

Lord Clintmire just arrived.

Jadall glances at Clintmire. I tried to change the wedding's location at the last moment so Jadall could not find us, but the Empath stilled showed up.

Clintmire wipes the sweat from his brow.

Clintmire begins to twitch.

Enchandri exclaims, "yeah dad!"

Dimwitt glances at Clintmire.

Enchandri says, "they said you wouldn't show" No respect!

Zarilynx glances at Clintmire.

Clintmire says, "bah" <<<<<<<<

Jadall tightens her grip on her wooden rolling pin and glances over at Clintmire.

Zarilynx says, "thats enough of that"

Enchandri just kissed Clintmire on the cheek.

The sun's final beams caress the rainbow colored sky and slowly fade out of view.

Paisely grins at Clintmire.

Paisely says, "Now if can have your attention the Bridal party is about to enter."

Heathyranne smiles as she whispers a bit too loudly to Kavan, "Oh good, jadall can web him into next week if he runs. You too for that matter." Women Conspiracy at work here!

(Clintmire stands firm)

Jadall snickers.

Thendror winks at Clintmire.

Enchandri scoffs at Clintmire.

(Paisely smiles as she looks to the rear of the gsthering)

{The Maid of Honor Arrives}

Lady Seracia just arrived.

{The Flower Girl Arrives}

Britomar just arrived.

(Britomar enters with a basket full of flower petals the scent is intoxicating, she takes a deep breath)

(Britomar starts to slowly prance down the aisle, gracefully dropping a few flower petals)

Britomar removes a handful of white flower petals from in her beribboned tart basket.

Paisely smiles.

Britomar drops a handful of white flower petals.

(Britomar smiles as she approaches the altar, letting a handful of flower petals drop in front of her, she thinks wow it's finally happening)

(Britomar continues to shower the walkway with many of the precious petals to make a stunning walkway for her precious mother)

Jadall smiles at Britomar.

Jadall glances at Clintmire. One could feel the love bond between Jadall and the Groom.

(Britomar scatters the rest of the petals, she turns the basket over and taps the bottom to make sure she got them all, a few delicate petals fall to the ground )

(Britomar kisses Seracia on the cheek before she moves and stands behind her with a sweet and innocent child-like smile on her face)

Jadall gazes up into the heavens.

Clintmire glances at Jadall.

Jadall tightens her grip on her silvery rolaren waraxe and glances over at Clintmire.

Paisely says, "It is my pleasure to introduce the bride, Lady Scheree"

Britomar smiles at Clintmire.

{The Wonderful Bride Arrives}

Lady Scheree just arrived.

Clintmire gazes fondly at Scheree.

One by one, shimmering stars dot the sky overhead.

Femereff smiles at Scheree.

Clintmire smiles softly with a sparkle in his eye at Scheree.

Scheree smiles with pleasure as she walks across the glade, her gaze falling on family members and friends

(Jadall whispers to Enchandri she didnt run)

Clintmire clasps Scheree's hand tenderly.

Jadall glances at Clintmire.

Paisely grins.

Large canvas-covered wagons come into view; each pulled by a pair of sleek, darkly colored horses. My family arrives. I was raised by Gypsies.

Clintmire shuffles his feet.

Scheree smiles with love in her eyes as her gaze falls on Clintmire

Paisely recites:

"Let me share with you a little about their lives that brought them to make this vow to each other. Asking how they meant I was regaled with tales of their youth spent in Rivers Rest. The original meeting was, according to Scheree, an act of poaching. Just as she was casting at a golem, Clint, who it appears even at a young age was taken with hunting his prey from the shadows, leapt out and removed the golems head. Clint of course argues that poaching is much too harsh of a term. He was simply trying to reduce he golem population for her." Even at our first meeting I could not stand to see her hurt.

Blazing torches supported by soot-covered standing sconces light up the area.

Zarilynx smiles as she whispers an aide to Jadall "such a beautiful lady, such a beautiful bride

The wheels of the wagons creak slightly as they come to a halt in a semi-circle formation nearby.

Paisely recites:

"As this type of population reduction continued a tentative hunting partnership resulted. With his quick wit and ornery humor Clint quickly endeared himself to Scheree. Over the years their relationship grew into love. Admittedly they have one of the longest running engagements, but that is coming to an end. Scheree swears that the only reason he trained in combat maneuvers so faithfully was to keep dodging the wedding. This impression I believe is strongly shared by all family members." Once again I must say "Bah!".

Jadall nods to Paisely.
Jadall says, "aint that the truth"

Jadall glances at Clintmire.

Colorfully garbed gypsies emerge from the wagons. Some carry food and some carry bulging satchels while the rest watch the handful of children.

Enchandri stares at Clintmire.

Clintmire scoffs.

Enchandri says, "but he's gonna do it today"

(Paisely finally can't hold back her giggle)

Jadall tightens her grip on her wooden rolling pin and glances over at Clintmire.

Paisely giggles.

Paisely recites:

"Today we come together to celebrate with Scheree and Clintmire their love for one another. The joy they have found in one another and a bit of the humor that makes them who they are."

Paisely smiles at Scheree.

Zarilynx glances at Clintmire.

Paisely smiles at Clintmire.

Jadall idly picks at a golden Rone Academy pin.

Clintmire hangs his head.

Enchandri says, "making an honest woman of my poor innocent mother."

Scheree smiles.

Britomar says, "it's about time"

Seracia says, "about time too"

Jadall glances at Clintmire.

Thendror chuckles.

Paisely giggles.

Paisely says, "Lady Femereff will now share with us one of her lovely songs she wrote just for this occasion. "

A small fluffy pink bunny hops up to Femereff and sniffs at her feet. I have head that Femereff is found of wearing rabbit footwear.

Femereff curtsies.

Femereff removes a gilded modwir-inlaid mandolin from in her ash mandolin case.

Femereff begins playing a quiet song on her mandolin.

The bunny hops back suddenly and sneezes loudly before scampering away to some nearby bushes.

Femereff gazes up into the heavens.

Femereff sings:

"He stood back in the shadows so as not to get hurt,
A big strong rogue behind a sorceresses skirt.
A good looking man if you take a good peer,
but the man is about to lose his left ear."

Jadall says, "big chicken more like"

>Jadall coughs.

Femereff sings:

"A cockey man with a gleem in his eye,
A testy sorceress wanting sentinals to die.
Her fingers were twitching when in came her foe,
And out came the rogue to get in the first blow."

Femereff embellishes her hushed song with an exquisite fall of notes as pure as raindrops across chimes.

Clintmire just tried to pull a wide-brimmed black felt hat.

Femereff sings:

"She watched the cast as it flew,
Toward the sentinal with dread,
For at that moment she knew,
It could remove Clintmire's head."

Several impish-looking children arrive, each carrying a handful of brightly colored silk streamers.

Femereff sings:

"She picked up his pieces from the Darkstone lair,
A bit here...a bit there...he was everywhere.
When she got him to voln empaths started to leer,
And they put him together with all they had there...
But it seems that Scheree had forgot his left ear,
And he is to this day the partial man you see here."

Whether this was an accident or not is still being debated.

Femereff continues her soft music, providing pleasant background for the goings-on around her.

Femereff smiles.

Femereff strums one final soft chord then allows her mandolin to fall silent.

Femereff put a gilded modwir-inlaid mandolin in her ash mandolin case.

Zarilynx smiles as she whispers an aside to Jadall, boy she sure knows the rogue

Paisely says, "Thank you Lady Femereff"

Enchandri asks, "just the ear dad?"

Paisely smiles at Femereff.

The bright face of Liabo comes into view over the horizon.

Thendror rubs Clintmire gently.

Jadall says, "poor woman"

Clintmire nods to Enchandri.

Seracia says, "so he says hon"

The children run around trailing their silk streamers in the air, laughing merrily.

Scheree grins.

Paisely says, "Scheree and Clintmire s daughter Enchandri would like to say a few words before her parents exchange their wedding vows."

Paisely grins at Enchandri.

A wolf howls forlornly off in the distance. The sound echoes in the forest and fades away.

A second wolf howls in return, answering her mate's call.

Enchandri says, "thanks for making me not a bastard" Groan!

Paisely says, "Jadall, Scheree s sister would now like to say a few words."

Enchandri says, "me and the other 7." I still count six.

Clintmire groans.

Enchandri nods.

Scheree groans.

Jadall grins.

Paisely smiles at Jadall.

Jadall smiles at Clintmire.

Jadall says, "my two cents,," Disregard anything this old Empath says.

Jadall grins.

Some of the bigger children climb up the trees and tie several streamers to the branches, glancing warily into the forest in the direction of the howls.

Paisely nods to Jadall.

Jadall says, "My dear sister Scheree has spent her entire life searching for a kind, warm hearted, generous loving man to fullfill that empty place in her heart,,,"

Jadall smiles at Scheree.

Jadall says, "Well, instead she found Clintmire, the most cantankerous, ornery, thieving man I've come to meet." Obviously she does not know my true inner self.

Jadall says, "I have known both of these folks for many a year, and am finally glad that the years of threatening Clintmire made him decide to make an honest woman of her."

Small fiery Tlilok inches over the horizon, in pursuit of Liabo.

Thendror snickers.

Paisely rubs Clintmire gently.

Jadall exclaims, "or he'd be missing more than just an ear!"

Jadall winks at Clintmire.

(Jadall leans over and whispers into Clintmire's ear, you still owe me a million silvers for bribing me to let you marry her.)

The colorful streamers adorning the trees rustle faintly as a gentle breeze moves them.

Jadall just nudged Clintmire.

Clintmire grumbles.

Clintmire removes a Wehnimer's promissory note from in his black felt hat.

Jadall put a veniom-hafted silvery rolaren waraxe in her thigh sheath.

Clintmire offers Jadall a Wehnimer's promissory note. I thought it was a bribe to keep her far away from me, but I was wrong.

Clintmire snaps his fingers.

Jadall snorts at Clintmire.

Jadall accepts Clintmire's promissory note.

Jadall just kissed the note!

Jadall removes a veniom-hafted silvery rolaren waraxe from in her thigh sheath.

Jadall says, "Now that I've been paid off."

Jadall says, "I wish you two the best of luck and all the happiness in the world."

Clintmire mutters old-women.

Jadall rubs Scheree gently.

Jadall says, "Your gonna need it."

Paisely nods to Jadall.

Jadall nods to Scheree.

As the children tug the streamers, leaves flutter to the ground showering everyone like colored raindrops.

Paisely giggles.

Paisely recites:

"As the families are to be jointed, I ask now ."

Jadall tightens her grip on her wooden rolling pin and glances over at Clintmire.

A pair of young girls scamper around collecting dry leaves, twigs, and rocks.

Paisely recites:

"Whom gives this woman away?"

The girls pile the leaves and twigs together in a nearby clearing and then surround the pile with their rocks.

Jadall stands up.

Jadall fidgets.

Jadall glances at Clintmire.

Clintmire wipes the sweat from his brow.

Scheree smiles at Jadall.

Jadall asks, "are you sure?"

A brightly clothed gypsy removes a torch from a sconce and touches the flame to the pile of leaves and twigs.

Jadall peers quizzically at Scheree.

Scheree says, "yes"

(Paisely crosses her fingers)

Jadall gazes up into the heavens.

Jadall says, "I do,,"

Scheree just kissed Jadall on the cheek.

Jadall just hugged Scheree.

(Dimwitt glances at the girls pilin up da wood strangely at da groom's feet) Strange, I had the same feeling too.

Jadall just kissed Scheree on the cheek.

Scheree just hugged Jadall.

Jadall glances at Clintmire.

Jadall tightens her grip on her silvery rolaren waraxe and glances over at Clintmire.

Clintmire smiles at Jadall.

Jadall glances at Clintmire and paces back and forth.

(Clintmire offers his cheek for a kiss from Jadall)

Jadall coughs.

Jadall says, "we aint related yet"

Paisely sighs relief.

Paisely recites:

"Wilt thou... Clintmire JuBimern and thou Scheree Monntage forsaking all others, keep thee only unto each other, so long as ye both shall live?"

Paisely smiles at Clintmire.

Jadall sobs.

Huge thunderclouds roll in from the east, covering the glade with darkness. A coincidence, I am sure of it.

Seracia shifts her eyes to Clintmire.

Clintmire begins to twitch.

Enchandri gazes up into the heavens.

Clintmire gazes up into the heavens.

Enchandri says, "rut ro dad"

Thendror coughs.

Clintmire says, "I do"

Jadall gasps.

Jadall sobs.

With a loud crack of thunder, the thunderclouds recede, allowing Liabo's light to encompass the area once more.

Scheree shifts her eyes to Clintmire.

Jadall exclaims, "those words finally came outta his mouth!"

Jadall turns to Clintmire and cheers!

Clintmire slowly empties his lungs.

Clintmire gazes fondly at Scheree.

Scheree says, "I do"

Enchandri says, "and without a knife to his.. throat"

Ambieth says, "hm, the lightening decided it wasn't needed"

A driving beat is heard as the gypsies begin playing their instruments.

The tambourine players move to the music, the streamers tied to the wooden frames of their instruments swirl around as they twirl and sway.

Paisely smiles.

Multihued scarves swirl around in a kaleidoscope of color in the hands of the dancers as they move among the trees.

Paisely says, "We will now hear another lovely song written for this occasion by Lady Femereff."

Femereff nods.

Femereff removes a gilded modwir-inlaid mandolin from in her ash mandolin case.

Femereff begins playing a quiet song on her mandolin.

Heathyranne sniffs.

Six tightly clustered stars forming Zelia's handmaidens can be seen as Liabo's light illuminates the sky.

Femereff smiles.

Femereff sings:

"If you could but look back in time,
Was there a moment Clintmire wasnt there?
Did fate mean for your paths to intertwine,
And forever your lives to share?"

Scheree smiles at Clintmire.

Femereff sings:

"Would you retrace your steps with her,
If you could just relive your past?
Who knew Scheree could love such a cur,
Had you ever thought it would last?"

Clintmire smiles lovingly at Scheree

The gypsies song changes, intertwining with Femereff's mandolin.

Without a change in dynamics Femereff picks up the pace of the song, weaving a soft but playful theme reminiscent of the sound of a far-away horse running across the countryside.

Weaving a beautiful melody, the soft sounds of the violins fill the air.

Femereff sings:

"Living and loving forever,
As you and your family grow.
Helping and aiding each other,
Wherever lifes river will flow."

Femereff strums one final soft chord then allows her mandolin to fall silent.

Femereff put a gilded modwir-inlaid mandolin in her ash mandolin case.

Paisely says, "Thank you Femereff"

Scheree beams happily at Femereff!

Femereff curtsies.

Clintmire beams happily at Femereff!

Paisely says, "May these rings, the symbol of your eternal love, Blessed by the goddess Imeara, Forever remind you of the vows you have uttered here today.""

Seracia removes a carved wedding band from in her crimson satin cloak.

The dancers form a circle around the campfire, some humming along with the music, others performing intricate twirls and leaps.

Thendror removes a crimson silk ring box from in his cleric's greatcloak.

Seracia offers Paisely a carved wedding band.

Thendror just opened a crimson silk ring box.

Paisely accepts Seracia's carved wedding band.

The golden jewelry of the dancers twinkles as the firelight glints off their surfaces.

Together, the tambourines and drums create a rapid beat that drives the dancing gypsies to move to the music.

Paisely offers Scheree a delicately carved wedding ring.

Heathyranne giggles.

Scheree accepts Paisely's carved wedding ring.

Paisely offers Clintmire a carved wedding band.

Clintmire accepts Paisely's carved wedding band.

Scheree offers Seracia a fragrant bouquet of spring flowers and golden honeysuckle tied with delicate gold silk ribbons.

Seven bright stars create the constellation of the Dragonfly in the sky. A pair of nebulae dances through the wings of the Dragonfly, giving the insect an opalescent appearance.

Scheree kneels down.

Clintmire kneels down.

Seracia accepts Scheree's fragrant bouquet.

Clintmire offers Thendror a dark twisted staff capped with a fiery dragonsbreath sapphire.

Thendror accepts Clintmire's dark twisted staff.

One by one, the dancers twirl out of the circle and disappear among the trees until all that is left is the music.

Paisely smiles a very small tear in her eye.

Scheree smiles.

Clintmire recites:

"This ring I hold before you
Testifies to my greatest theft
For it represents the heart I stoled and the soul of my heart."

Paisely smiles at Clintmire.

Clintmire recites:

"By offering it to you, I vow here before family and friends
That an unbreakable love exists between us."

The music slowly fades away, leaving only the sound of the wind rustling the canvas flaps of the wagon.

Clintmire recites:

"By accepting this ring,
You confirm your commitment to the
Love that makes this bond possible."

Paisely smiles at Scheree.

Nine shimmering stars in the moonlit sky form the leaf, stalk, and petals of Oleani's flower.

A shimmering star cuts a glimmering path across the sky, and disappears behind the treetops.

Scheree recites:

"This band I hold in my hand
Represents a bond that is
Not a contract but a force of nature
By offering it to you,
I vow here before family and friends"

Scheree recites:

"My total love and devotion to you
I entrust my heart and soul into your care.
Accepting this band, you confirm your commitment to the nurturing of this love we share."

Silvery moonbeams dance off the surface of the altar, causing the emeralds decorating it to shimmer beautifully.

Scheree slides a delicately carved wedding ring onto her finger.

Clintmire slides a carved wedding band onto his finger.

Paisely beams!

Paisely removes a piece of tattered parchment from in her pink purse.

Paisely recites:

"As long as both have agreed to this patched piece of parchment pertaing to this partnership I can now as an official cleric in the land of Elanthia prounce you man and wife. I give you both my blessing and my fondest wishes for your future."

Tiny fireflies flitter through the air like dozens of sparkling stars tumbling from the sky.

Clintmire just kissed Scheree on the lips.

Tryania beams!

Paisely recites:

"You may kiss the bride."

Paisely recites:

"Please remain if you wish to recieve the couple, there is food and drink enough for all. Scheree and Clintmire will return to meet with everyone shortly after the wedding paintings."

Hundreds of the tiny glowing insects swirl around the couple as they stand proudly before everyone.
